This McNab Dad shirt is for the man who wears his McNab pride on his sleeve — literally. Our original vintage sketch design captures the quiet bond between a McNab dad and his loyal companion.
Why McNab Dads Choose This Shirt
There’s something about a McNab dad and his dog. The morning routine, the training sessions, the way they always end up on your side of the bed. This shirt says what every McNab dad already knows: your dog chose you, and you wouldn’t have it any other way.
About the McNab
McNab owners will tell you there is no such thing as a casual McNab. This breed locks onto their person with an intensity that borders on telepathic, earning them the nickname ‘velcro dog’ among the ranchers and herding enthusiasts who work them hardest. Descended from collie-type dogs brought out of the Scottish Borders and later shaped by California ranchers during the gold rush era, the McNab is built for purpose in every fiber of its wiry frame. They can read a handler’s body language before a command is spoken, work independently across vast properties in brutal weather, and still come home and be gentle with kids at the end of the day. Nearly lost to history, the breed was pulled back from the brink by dedicated breeders who understood what they had. McNab people know they are part of something rare. This shop exists to celebrate that.
What Makes This Design Special
Every shirt in our Vintage Animal Sketch collection features an original illustration, not stock art or AI clip art. Our McNab design captures the breed’s distinctive features and personality in a style inspired by antique naturalist prints. It’s the kind of design that gets compliments from strangers and knowing nods from fellow McNab owners.

Common Questions
Is this shirt true to size?
Yes. The Bella+Canvas 3001 has a modern, retail-quality fit, not boxy like cheaper blanks. It’s comfortable straight out of the package. If you prefer a relaxed fit, consider ordering one size up.
Will the print crack or fade?
No. We use direct-to-garment (DTG) printing with water-based inks that are embedded into the cotton fibers, not sitting on top. The design stays soft to the touch and holds up through hundreds of washes.
