Barbet

Barbets are water retrievers who will find a body of water and enter it, regardless of whether you’ve invited them to do so. Their curly coat requires regular grooming or it becomes a matted mess, and they shed their undercoat in clouds that will live in your house for weeks. They’re smart and energetic enough to need actual work, but friendly enough that they’ll guilt-trip you about it with their whole face.
