Norwegian Buhund

Norwegian Buhunds are compact, relentlessly cheerful dogs with an ear-splitting bark that makes them terrible apartment neighbors and excellent property alarms. They were bred to herd sheep and cattle, so they’re built for work and will invent jobs if you don’t give them any, usually involving vocal commentary on everything happening within a half-mile radius. If you want a loyal, active companion who communicates constantly and has opinions about the weather, this is your breed.
