About the German Spitz

German Spitz owners will tell you there is nothing quite like living with a dog who is simultaneously your shadow, your entertainer, and your home security system. This ancient Nordic breed, refined in Germany across five distinct size varieties, packs an enormous personality into a compact, cloud-coated package. They are sharp, alert, and deeply devoted to their people, but they do not hand that devotion out to just anyone. That natural wariness toward strangers is not a flaw, it is the breed doing exactly what it was built to do. The thick double coat that turns heads on a walk is also genuinely functional, built to handle weather that would send other breeds back inside. German Spitz owners tend to be people who appreciate a dog with opinions and a voice, a dog who notices everything and wants to be part of all of it. This collection is for everyone who loves and celebrates that spirited, fox-faced companion.
